The Americans manufactured the gun in large numbers after its adoption, building 1, units before the end of World War I. However, the need for a tank gun was in high demand after the German Blitzkrieg tactics showed that their current tank inventory was insufficient. Thus, the gun that would become the 75 mm gun was derived from the 75 mm Gun M Service The 75 mm gun was first used as the M2 variant mounted onto the M3 Lee on a sponson mount. This was an interim design due to the lack of turret able to mount the gun. The 75 mm gun greatly benefited the Allies due to two reasons. Firstly, it was able to knock out most German tanks at the time, such as the Panzer III and the Panzer IVs ; secondly, the 75 mm gun has the benefit of being dual-purpose, firing armor-piercing or high-explosive rounds.

They have good frontal armor and pretty lousy side and rear armor. The plan to use them against the Warsaw Pact forces in Europe was to fire at long range from prepared hull-down positions then retreat to other prepared positions. Assisting them in this would be Improved Tow Vehicles firing wire-guided missiles, attack helicopters and precision artillery.
The American M4A3E2 Sherman “Jumbo” is one if you’re playing it to get through the American medium tank line, being a relatively slow Stone Wall compared to the other American mediums, which are all generally well rounded, though not especially armored.
The affection come from it’s exceptional armour that would be good for a heavy tank the next tier up. The Panzer II Luchs with its stubby proportions and blistering mobility is occasionally likened to a puppy. The M24 Chaffee is considered cute for similar reasons. Battle in the Rain: Maps in the Xbox version generally have several reskins taking place at different times of day and in different weather conditions.
Rain is common, ranging from a light drizzle to an apocalyptic thunderstorm. It doesn’t have a significant effect on gameplay, but it looks very cool. Better to Die than Be Killed: Some players deliberately drown their tank, hit themselves with HE splash damage or drive off tall cliffs when the battle has been lost to deny the enemy an easy kill, which means less XP and credits for the winning team. In most cases, this is less about denying XP and credits to the enemy team and more about getting back to the garage faster once the battle is clearly lost, so that another battle can be loaded into faster.
But regardless of the reason, it’s considered to be a rather dickish thing to do.

Matchmaking rule changes have shifted around Tiers II and III somewhat, you do not have to go very far at all to find someone struggling. Why is Tier IV the pressure point however? Well there are several factors and game design decisions that contribute to Tier IV being the pressure point it is. Scout tanks Take two tanks, the Covenanter and the Panzer 38 nA. Both appear to be Tier IV light tanks, and on the basis of the information in-game there is no suggestion of any particular difference between the two.

Along with the armor it has decent mobility and firepower which this guide will touch on. Starting out this guide is a quick video that goes over the positive and negative aspects of the M4A3E2. Also, in the video are two matches of the M4A3E2 being played. Generally you will only want to angle the hull between degrees since anymore and your side armor becomes a liability. The mm at tier 6 is pushing it against tier 7 and 8 tanks but is effective around lightly armor tanks and most tier 6 and under tanks.
Personally I like the top 76mm and upgraded turret since it is more reliable. While you do sacrifice armor on the turret you gain a better gun in my opinion and a lot of view range.

Are there actual ‘skills’ which affect your ability to control the plane, other than your physical hand on the physical joystick? What do the points into vision do? Are enemey aircraft actually obscured if you don’t put points there? I can see building a pay-to-play grind model on ground crew effectiveness and the aircraft you can get into, but actually negatively affecting how you can fly the aircraft itself is bizarre. They don’t affect your ability to fly the sim.

But what a great-looking one! The less-known IS-6 arrives in patch 7. WoT Armory makes its case about the IS-6 premium heavy tank.
When it was designed the M4’s armor was quite adequate against the tanks it was likely to face, but by it was pretty weedy. In response to this a run of up-armored Shermans were delivered in June and July of that year.
However, the primary purpose for this website is to illustrate a proposal for what an “endgame” could look like for the US tech tree in the game, World Of Tanks, and to show that there’s still plenty of life left to breathed into this game. My aim is to see as many tanks in the game about tanks as possible, and I hope to show that in a way that respects both the historicity of the tanks shown and the balance of the game overall.
As such, I will not be going into great detail on individual statistics. Rather, I will only be showing the possible modules for each tank, changes that could be made to make it more historically authentic, a historical overview, and how the tank’s playstyle may be represented in-game. I will also attempt to future-proof this by including alternate hulls, half-tracks, and wheeled vehicles. This is certainly not perfect and everything is subject to change.

Randomly is the tier for battle selected. In our example let it be 8 from 7 to 9 incl. In the tier 12 battles you will have only tanks from 10 tier and some light scouts from lower tiers. Some players are confusing battle tiers with tank tiers.

Ahhh sorry guys , I see now. Anonymous on June 20, at 1: This is not a MM-chart, but the weight of the vehicles. These have nothing to do with the tier-limits of the tanks, these are the values of a tank in a match. The MM tries to build up teams so these values add up to the same number, in theory, preventing full medium teams against full heavy teams situations. Obst on June 20, at 1: Related to the differences between MM-tiers and MM-weight, some copypasta from the old blog, maybe it clears some things up even though the wiki does a good job explaining it already: The MM-weight of a a tank is independent from the MM-tiers assigned to it.
The MM-tiers of a vehicle define the range of battles a vehicle can be assigned to, the MM-weight defines how vehicles are balanced between teams within a battle. Vehicle X and Y will never meet each other thanks to having different MM-tiers assigned, even though the MM-weight is equal. You select your Tier 8 tank in the garage, hit BATTLE and wonder why the match does not begin immediately even though there are Tier 8 in the waiting queue. This is the case for two reasons:
